We are getting married!

Bree and Michael’s love story began in the Fall of 2021 while both attending Western Michigan University. Michael was finishing his final semester in computer science, and Bree entering her final year in nursing school. They were first introduced by mutual friends, but little did they know their paths had always been intertwined. Michael and Bree unknowingly had grown up 5 minutes apart, frequenting the same local areas. Whether that was their favorite hometown ice cream shop, high school sporting events (while attending rival schools) or even the fact that Michael grew up neighbors with Bree’s family. Just these few examples represent the invisible string that would eventually tie them together. They also found they had a lot in common, like their love for snowboarding and golfing and hanging out with friends. This bond grew over the years and Bree and Michael realized their relationship had turned into something very special. Fast forward to May of 2024. Michael and Bree embarked on a long-awaited trip with Michaels family to the U.S. Virgin Islands. This is where Michael found himself down on one knee while overlooking the beauty of the Caribbean Sea. A perfect spot for the two to dedicate their lives and their future together.
