We're getting married!

Sept 26th, 2017 - Dhriti & I met when she joined my work team & I pranked her on her second day by hiding her laptop so she would think it was stolen. After that, she changed teams multiple times "to get away from me" but fate (or at least management) had different plans & put us on the same team 3 different times. Dhriti is one of the most caring, daring, & silly people I know. She is always excited to share her many passions with me like jumping out of an airplane, dancing to Bollywood music, or doing trendy reels for the 'Gram. I love how forward-thinking she is, & how our life together is one big adventure. We might always be late, but I knew early on she was the one.

Sept 26th, 2017 - Jake & I first met at work. He loved pranking me, & my attempts at pranks earned him the nickname "Khadus" (Mr Grumpy) as he didn’t always take it well. I loved distracting him with my stories, we spent lots of time together and our friendship grew. He claims it was love at first sight (I playfully disagree), but it was only when I took another job in a different state that he mustered the courage to ask me out😜 Jake's unmatched humor and wit never fail to amaze me. He makes everything from waiting at the BMV to living in Hawaii an exciting experience. I love how he can be so fun and yet be so focused & hardworking. His crazy matches mine & I can't wait until we're married! Thrice!!!

Feb 14th, 2022 - Given Dhriti's love for her city and country, Jake always knew he wanted to propose to her in her hometown, Hubballi. On his second trip to India, he cooked up a Valentine's Day surprise starting with 100 roses greeting her at dawn, followed by champagne and more surprises. The whole day, Dhriti was wondering why he went to such lengths; little did she know what was in store. Later that day at her favorite resort, Jake planned a romantic, poolside dinner. He spoke in Hindi, describing their journey and what she meant to him. Overwhelmed by emotion, Dhriti saw Jake get down on one knee, and with tears in her eyes, she embraced the beautiful future they would share together with a resounding “YES!”

Nov 9th, 2022 - For our Official Wedding, we planned to have a simple paper-signing in New York City - our favorite place in US. The officiant, touched by our love story, insisted on a small ceremony. We exchanged our vows in Central Park right in front of the iconic Bethesda Fountain, as a crowd of intrigued tourists cheered us on. It was a day filled with love, joy, and dreams of our shared future adventures.

Jan 26th, 2023 - Our Big Fat Indian Wedding was in Hubballi! This vibrant event was full of colors, intricate henna designs, & ornate decorations. Elaborate rituals, lively music, enthusiastic dances, & a variety of delectable cuisines created an unforgettable experience, symbolizing the union of two souls & their families.

Oct 7th, 2023 - For our third and final act, we need you to help us celebrate our nuptials in Columbus! We can’t wait to dance the night away with you & create some unforgettable moments of laughter, joy, & happiness. We thank you for your love, support, & for being part of our special day.
