We honestly have no recollection of "how we met"... we wish there were a way to turn back the recordings in our minds, so we could relive that moment - because we're sure it was hilarious! What we know for sure is, we were both freshman at Nyack College. Tiffani 17 and Brandon 19. Both new to the environment and unsure of what to expect! Initially, Brandon was the pursuer and often flirted with Tiffani. She was however, in a committed relationship and unwilling to entertain him AT ALL. She claims she was not even slightly attracted to him, but little did she know that would one day change....

HE GOT ME! Yes, I accepted the proposal - but that's not what I mean. This man thought up such a detailed plan :) Let's rewind a second. We had spoken about moving in together, getting married, etc. However, I had 1 condition: before we move in - we should be engaged. He agreed, promised he would make it happen - despite us both having less than 6 months left on our leases! Little did I know he had a WHOLE plan. So, we share an email address, and that's how he fooled me! He had a coach from college, write this super formal invitation letter requesting his presence. He was asked to "speak to the incoming freshman" about the basketball program and his experience. I see the email, ask if he's going? He tells me yes, and that I'm invited too. I had a week or two so no stress, yet...all the sudden the weekend is here. I have my dress and shoes. His suit is pressed w/ a tie to match! Not a hiccup in sight. While I'm getting ready, I realize I'm running late - bc of MY HAIR. But he wasn't rushing me - which I now realize is weird, again CLUELESS. All day, he'd been quiet, kind of pale in the face & I just couldn't figure it out. When I asked, he'd say "I'm just nervous about my talk". That didn't sound right, but I assured him he'd do fine! The whole car ride to the "banquet" - SILENCE still I suspect nothing! As we approach, he calls his accomplices to confirm their location. "Oh ya'll are at the pier - cool we'll meet you there!" , "Aren't we late?" I asked. "No not really, bc the soccer program is up first, so we don't have to be there yet. We're taking pictures by the water" he says. OK, I guess? - that didn't make sense: STILL CLUELESS. We approach say our hellos and start "taking pictures" - except to my surprise it was a video. As we pose I see someone approach - it's my HS best friend! "Wait what, this doesn't make sense" (except my version was way more explicit) Then before I know it, he was on a knee! It is the most thoughtful gift he's given me to date!
