Yes, the RSVPs are separate. We will need to keep a count in order to keep you well-feed and hydrated at our reception. We are asking for RSVPs for the Zoom so we can contain our Zoom information to only those that plan on viewing the reception.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 has impacted us greatly in 2020. For the safety of our friends and family, we made the difficult decision to postpone the large gathering. But, true love simply can't wait, so we choose to still get married on our original 2020 date. We hope you can understand. We hope you all will join us via Zoom to see us be wedded.
Details are still developing, as the date is over a year away. We wanted to send out "save the date" cards as soon as possible to inform our loved ones that we are still getting married in October. We hate to keep secrets. We wanted to be upfront about having an intimate ceremony with our parents, while assuring you that you will have the opportunity to celebrate with us in 2021, on our 1 year anniversary! We will keep our wedding website up to date as details are solidified. RSVP cards and information about the reception will be sent out closer to our 2021 date. We appreciate your love, support, and understanding during this very difficult time. Please stay safe and healthy!
You need a cell phone with video and wifi-connectivity capabilities or a computer. We will be emailing the link to the Zoom prior to the ceremony. If you are unable to access Zoom, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate you. We also hope to have a mock ceremony at the reception.
As mentioned, parking will be limited. There is street parking on our street and we obtained permission from our neighbors to park the street full. We also have a school parking lot about 0.4 miles from our house and a local park parking about 0.6 miles from our house, but these locations will require walking. Please include your request for preferential parking in your RSVP (such as mobility difficulties, etc). We ask those able-bodied individuals to reserve the parking on our street to those that need it. We hope to provide transportation from the hotel but that is still in the works. If you do not plan to stay at the hotel, you will have to park at one of the locations above. Since parking is limited, please consider carpooling. More to come on this!
Unfortunately, COVID-19 has greatly impacted our plans. We would love for you all to see us be wedded but we'd like to keep our loved ones safe and healthy. Therefore, we are not accepting requests to attend the ceremony in person. Please consider watching the ceremony on Zoom. Contact us as early as possible if you need assistance. Thank you for your understanding.
