Having both struck out in the dating game recently, we had decided to try our luck with a popular dating app. Tony had had his profile for a little bit; Cody and her friend Table Red decided one night to download this app and then proceeded do a lot of swiping right. Tony happened to be one of her matches. He happened to be up at wine o'clock, and so they chatted a bit. They decided to meet up a couple days later for dinner. By date #3, they had bought a horse trailer, and by date #5, they bought a corn crib to tear down together. Clearly, it was meant to be.
Cody was frantically trying to buy Zoo Brew tickets while they were half off (one day only!!) and accidentally purchased two for the wrong date. Upon realizing this, she tried to sell the tickets, but decided last minute to just go anyway. She and Tony hopped on the Harley, and enjoyed a beautiful summer evening of zoo animals, beer, mexican food, and decided to end the evening by watching the sunset from the Capitol Building. After taking some really gorgeous pictures of the downtown skyline and the Capitol silouhette, they gazed out to the dwindling light of the sun. Having asked Cody's daughters if they would allow him to marry their mom several weeks prior, Tony got down on one knee and asked if Cody would be his wife. After she realized he wasn't joking around... and asked if he was sure several times... she said YES!
