The first encounter between us happened at the 2011 Crossfit games. Cody thought Taylor was in a relationship with one of the guys she was with (which she wasn't), so he held back on using his smooth pick up lines. Two years later, we ended up matching on the best dating app ever, Tinder. We had our first meet up at a frozen yogurt place in Pacific Beach, California. What really drew interest for Taylor was Cody decided to wear a shirt that said "Nothing Feels Quite Like A Good Snatch" and had an amazing, thick mustache. What we thought was going to be a 30 minute conversation, turned into 3 hours. A couple months later we decided to make it a official relationship.

Taylor was getting sworn in to become a lawyer in the DC area. We were taking pictures in front of the panel, and Cody looks over an says "Sorry for not bringing you flowers, but hopefully this will do." He got down on one knee, and after about a minute of being shocked, Taylor finally said "YES."
