Things To Do

Fredericksburg, Texas is a quaint town in the heart of Texas Hill Country. It is known for it's German influence and hosts many wineries. We recommend doing as the locals do, exploring hill country, tasting some delicious German food (and beers!), and savoring some hill country wines. We are thrilled to have you join us for our wedding in the place that Cody lovingly describes as, 'the California of Texas'!
Enchanted Rock

Enchanted Rock

16710 Ranch Rd 965, Fredericksburg, TX 78624

We visited Enchanted Rock this summer the day before our engagement and absolutely loved it! It would be a great half-day excursion for anyone interested in scenic, easy to moderate hiking trails. Reservations are required and recommended about 30 days in advance.

Grape Creek Vineyards

Grape Creek Vineyards

10587 E U.S, US-290, Fredericksburg, TX 78624

If you're looking for a lunch spot with an amazing vineyard view, this is it! We always enjoy wine tasting here, they have a really nice variety.

Wildseed Farms

This gorgeous wildflower farm is a must-see in the springtime!! As noted on their website, "Visitors can enjoy a glass of wine, cold beer or other refreshments and explore the walking trails and take photos."
