When Paige posted on the UW-La Crosse rideshare board junior year of college, way back in 2013, she wasn't thinking it would be a life-changing moment. But after that first ride back home with Cody, they both knew they found their person and have been inseparable since. Almost 12 years later after both were done with school, Cody finally popped the question at our favorite beach in Naples, Del-Nor Wiggins. We are both so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our story with our loved ones!

It started with a text on a Wednesday night from his co-worker inviting Cody and Paige to a work event that Friday night. That Friday, Paige decided to wear a new dress that she conveniently got the weekend before when Cody and her went shopping "spontaneously". Paige doesn't wear dresses, so this was Miracle #1. After work, Cody picked up Paige and were "running early" for the dinner and suggested they stop at their favorite beach located in between the restaurant and her work. Cody was excited to walk on the beach; Paige said she didn't want to get her feet sandy - Cody told her to tough it out and she reluctantly agreed, Miracle #2 because she can be stubborn. Miracle #3 was a storm was rolling in but it never actually rained, giving Paige and Cody almost the whole beach to themselves. They were looking at shells when Cody said, "I found the best one .... 11 years ago" and got down on one knee. They spent the remainder of the night soaking it in at the picnic area Cody pre-set up with their photographer capturing every moment.
