FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We need an absolute final number 30 days before the ceremony so the deadline to RSVP is 10/07/2026

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Our website here has a Registry! But if you are unsure what to get us, consider contributing towards our Honeymoon Fund! We would love to go see the Cherry Blossoms in Japan in the spring of 2027.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy Casual! We highly recommend comfortable shoes and please remember that the ceremony will be outdoors in early November so it might be chilly.

Question

Can I take pictures on my own phone/camera?

Answer

During the ceremony, we ask that all visitors allow the professional photographer we have hired to do 100% of the photo taking. Nothing interrupts their job more than trying to dodge phones raised in the air blocking view. During the reception, some of the dances will also be photographed by the photographer, but we would be open to more personal photos after this has been completed.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Check your invitation! Some families were invited with the listed members or have (+1) next to your name! This means we would absolutely welcome someone else to join you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both venue locations within the park have some parking available, but both are also within walking distance by stairs between the lodge and venues. If you have comfortable shoes, it is a beautiful area to walk!

Question

We bought a gift, now what?

Answer

Because this is a “destination” wedding, we will have to bring back everything with us after the ceremony. If you want to buy something off of our registry, please send it to our home address! You won’t have to tote it to Kentucky and we will have an easier travel back.

Question

If the ceremony is at 2 and the reception is at 6, what do we do in the meantime?

Answer

While Cody, Meredith, and some family will be taking photos, we invite guests to relax, hike, and enjoy the scenery! A few select friends may be helping set up the reception hall for the party as well.
