Cody and I meet in the fall of 2020 as we started our college journey. We attended Miles Community College and were both on the rodeo team. Our friendship started immediately, and enjoyed traveling to rodeos together. While we were on the road we would spend HOURS talking about everything under the sun! Mean while our traveling partner would be passed out in the back seat. The summer of 2021 our friendship started to blossom into something else and by that fall Cody would eventually win over my heart as well. While the rest seems like history from there we started dating October 26th, 2021. That winter we spent Christmas break at his dad’s place. We spent the break feeding cows in the morning and riding horses during the day. We went back to college and had a lot of fun enjoying our sophomore year. Spring of 2022 we moved to Jackson, MT while Cody worked on a large cattle outfit and I worked at a small dinner in Wisdom, MT. That summer Cody taught me a lot about working cattle and even helped me start roping! That fall we went back to Miles City to finish out college and never left! Come December of 2023 Cody and I attended our first NFR together and little did I know Cody had been planning something else for a long time! Cody had been planning this for months and had taken my grandma’s gold ring out of my jewelry box to have the most beautiful diamond put onto it. He proposed on December 13th, on the balcony of the Wynn over looking the water show.
