We’re Getting Married!

Our story begins in May of 2022. I (Marysa) was ready to quit online dating again, but received a message from a man named Cody. He had just downloaded the app I was on. It was fate that brought us together. Though our paths had crossed over the years, unbeknownst to us. From being at the same restaurant at the same time, celebrating New Years Eves down the street from one another, as well as many opportunities for us to meet, though we never did! But now, the timing was finally right. Our first date was very interesting. We had a FaceTime date to start which was great and we knew we were really interested, but I was low on time for an in person date and Cody was ready to meet! So I managed to squeeze in some time between errands and chaperoning prom. So, Cody met me at my favorite place...Homegoods. We wandered around the store for a while talking, and I am sure judging each other a bit. But things had gone well, so we headed to Starbucks to chat some more. Our date was cut short due to my responsibilities and his need to pack for his terrain race the next day. We parted ways, but knew we would see each other again. I, being nervous by nature, was still uncertain about Cody, and he had some reservations too, but he continued to pursue me. After a few dates, lots of laughs, and getting to know each other, it did not take long to realize he was the one for me, and I, for him. After many travels across the country and to two different countries, we are slowly making our way around the world, where we can do what we love most--explore new places, try great food, and go on new adventures. But we are excited for this new adventure of getting married most of all. We truly, have met our person and we cannot wait to celebrate with you!
