I cant wait to marry my best friend!

I (Lizzie) was sitting at home one night when Jackie (my best friend/sister in law) texted me stating that she knew someone who had a crush on me. I remember thinking “well hes an idiot!” I laughed and asked her who and she said my little brother Cody. To which I immediately responded “who the hell is Cody?” Apparently I had met him 3 years prior to that at a New Years Eve party, I have no memory of meeting him, and again a while later at a get together at Jackie’s house, once again I do not remember meeting him lol. (I found out later that he had, had a crush on me for those 3 years and I had no idea who he was.) She said hes coming to my house come over so we can surprise him, at first I said no because I was in my comfy clothes and ready for bed. If you know Jackie you know that no was not an option so I got up and headed to her house. I beat him there so Jackie and I went to the gas station and when we got back there he was in the drive way. This poor guy was SHOCKED when he saw me get out of the car and proceeded to sit in his car for 10 minutes until Mark told him to come inside. When he finally came inside he wouldn’t even look at me let alone talk to me. Jackie texted me and said “I have never seen him this nervous with ANYONE! He’s usually so confident!” And i later found out that he texted Jackie and said “She’s so beautiful I dont know what to do!” Mind you I’m in yoga pants a hoodie no makeup and hair in a messy bun (he’s a keeper!) Finally after TWO HOURS we got to talking about tattoos and he actually spoke to me. I knew from just that one time hanging out I was going to fall in love with him. We have come so far, all because of one night trying to make a random guy uncomfortable. I will never be able to thank Jackie enough for making me come over that night. He is my soulmate, my best friend, my Clyde, and the greatest love of my life! I can’t wait to be his wife ♥️
