A Chick-Fil-Love Story

Like many great love stories, Kyrsten and Cody first met behind the counter, where chicken sandwiches and waffle fries ruled the day. When we first met, Cody confidently announced that he thought he could be a model — which immediately caught Kyrsten’s attention (and maybe made her laugh a little). Her first impression? He was very sure of himself. Cody, on the other hand, thought Kyrsten was delightfully weird — she had a way of saying the most random, unexpected things that somehow made perfect sense later on. We didn’t fall in love right away, but we did build a friendship that became the best foundation for everything that followed. About six months into working together — January 2024 — we really connected over music. That summer, we worked side by side on the Chick-fil-A marketing team and got tacos between events because duh taco Tuesday   By the spring of 2025, our friendship had grown into something more, and we started dating. It didn’t take long to realize this was it — within the first month, we both knew we had found the person we wanted to spend forever with. Cody proposed in the gazebo in his front yard, where we danced to “No Place Like You” by John Michael Howell — the same song we had danced to our entire relationship. It was the perfect reflection of us: simple, sweet, and full of love. From coworkers to good friends, to partners for life — our story has been filled with laughter, faith, and the sweetest kind of love. Credit: ChatGPT
