We met at a party, and didn't think much of it. A couple months later we went on a camping trip up river. Little did we know that from that night on, we would go on countless dates, to moving in together, to spending the rest of our lives together. In the mix of the last three years, we have learned to love each other through the hardest of situations and soak up the joys. We cannot wait for our special day and become Mr and Mrs McLaughlin.

We drove to junction to pick up Kaden that day. Kaden always told Cody that he needed propose when he was there. It was just another day, long day of travel, grocery hauls and of course the weather wasn't great! We finally got home and Cody seemed very eager to just get me in the house I didn't quite understand why... Well we get inside and me super confused sees our dinning room lit up. I walked in saying what the heck, I know I didn't leave the Christmas tree on all day. Entering the room I got more confused. There were these beautiful trees, flowers and candles everywhere. I turned around and there Cody was down on one knee, holding my dream ring asking me the question I have been waiting for. I was so surprised, nothing came out of my mouth at first. (Cody will tell you it felt like forever) but of course I said YES! Our close family came over with my favorite snacks and champagne and we all celebrated. It was perfect.
