On August 6th, 2011 Kennedy and Cody were both attending Relay For Life at the Beaverton High School track. A mutual friend introduced them and the rest is history. Kennedy remembers running back over to her campsite to tell her mom that she just met the cutest boy. Even though they met at the track, their relationship has never been a race. It has been a slow, steady, constant, forward moving, always on track, partnership.
