Kat and EmJ started their friendship as teammates on the OWU track and XC teams. However, that relationship grew as they became housemates years later in their German Village duplex. Kat and EmJ have shared the greatest adventures together! EmJ is the only one crazy enough to be down with any idea Kat throws her way. That's Kat's version of a quintessential friend.
Ian Jenkins
Best Man
Best friends since forever. These two continue to spend long hours together whenever possible. Ian is still holding out hope that Kat and Cody will buy land with him and his girlfriend Lindsey so that they will be nextdoor neighbors forever.
Audra Allegri
Matron of Honor
Audra was Kat's roommate and BFFF all four years at OWU. Kat was even able to convince Audra to join the OWU T&F teams as a thrower (of which she became one of OWU's best ever!). Audra is now a married mother of triplets! She lives just outside of Detroit, which means she's too incredibly far away from Kat for Kat's liking.
Kyle Herman

A member of the OWU XC & T&F teams, Kyle has been close friend and roommate to Cody and A-Team bretheren to Kat. Kyle knew Cody and Kat should've been together well before they did, and he was the first person they told of their relationship outside of family.
Rachel Merry

Born only 2 months after Kat, Rachel is Kat's first cousin and first best friend. Though marginally younger, Kat has always looked up to Rachel and been inspired by her fun, friendly nature and incredible drive. Kat couldn't imagine her big day without Rachel in it!
Larry Ritchie

Cody's older brother Larry came along when Cody's Dad, Allen, met his now Step-Mom Lori. They have gotten into plenty of trouble together since. Although Cody would tell you that Larry was a bad influence during his formidable years.
Heather Pirangi

Heather and Kat first met as roommates at OWU. Kat and Heather have been far-away friends ever since! Heather's sweet and spunky nature, along with her love of all things science and animals are what Kat loves most.

Cody and John were college roommates throughout their time at OWU as well as teammates on the XC and T&F teams.
Nicole Dini

Nicole and Kat met as co-workers at Mount Carmel West Hospital. When Nicole first became a nurse, Kat was tasked with teaching her how to be a great nurse, and so she did (thanks in part to a few hundred post-it notes along the way). If Nicole tells a corny one-liner to her patients, it was likely stolen from Kat. Nicole is one of Kat's dearest friends, and she especially loves her ability to say whatever is on her mind and tell it like it is. Though they no longer work together, they talk on the phone sometimes multiple times a week. The mark of a close friend!

Kerra Conley

Kerra joined Kat as a co-worker at Mount Carmel West Hospital years ago. Since that time, Kerra and Kat have had a case of mistaken identity more than a few times. This is why Kat considers Kerra her work twin. The two share a chill/relaxed vibe - even if they share some internal anxieties! Though Kerra recently made the move to the ICU, the two frequently take walks through the village together.
Cody Zimmerly

Cody is Kat's younger brother. Yes, it has been a headache for years now trying to decide whether we are talkng about Cody M or Cody Z. In the end, we simply call Cody M, Doc. Cody currently resides in LAs Vegas, NV and is making the long trip to Ohio to celebrate with us.
Melanie Neuner

Melanie and Kat went to nursing school together. The program was an exceptionally rigorous 13 month long BSN program designed for those who already possessed a degree in another field. If it weren't for Melanie, Kat wouldn't have eaten so well during that 13 month span. Kat could often be found at Melanie's rental house either working hard on school assignments or enjoying what little life she could outside of class.
Read Merry
Groomsman
Read is Kat's first cousin and brother to Rachel (bridesmaid). Read and Rachel have grown up with Kat, and she couldn't imagine this day without either of them in it.
