Back in 2010, Kaleighs cousin put the two in touch, and they spent a week chatting on the phone, just 10-year-olds who have never met but enjoyed hearing each others voice. Life moved on, especially after Cody realized Kaleigh's Facebook was completely covered in Justin Bieber! But in 2014, they reconnected, and this time, it turned into something real. On the way to Cubby's, her friends teased her about Codys looks, fully aware that he didn't look that way, just to scare her. The second he sat across from her, she realized they were definitely wrong. Trying to play it cool, she focused too hard on the basketball game on TV, he snapped his fingers with a smile to get her attention and pull her into a conversation. It worked - and it was the start of something neither of them forgot. Over the past 12 years, they've grown up together, learned together, and built a life that feels so completely theirs - especially their home on the farm, surrounded by animals and memories they'll cherish forever. One of Kaleigh's favorite memories is when, in true farmer fashion, Cody proposed with "Will you marry me?" written across hay bales - perfectly simple, perfectly heartfelt, and perfectly them.
