Hmmm, where do I start? Well, back in 2013 I had just turned 16 and had gotten my license. So, like a normal 16 year old would do, I went for a little ride. Low and behold, I had my first car wreck. I got t-boned and it was a two foot indention into my car. Safe to say, I couldn’t get out. Not only because I was pinned in, but also because I had broken a lot of bones. Soon, help arrived and up walked a very attractive firefigther who looked to be about my age. He kept me calm and helped get me out of the car and to the EMTs. I had told my mom I wanted to date him when we got to the hospital. I never saw him again for four years. Then, on my 20th birthday I get a message from a guy who looks odly familiar. We talked every day, from sun up to sun down. Then two days later he came to the house and asked my dad if he could date me. One day, a storm was blowing through and I couldn’t sleep so he stayed up to talk to me. I explained about my wreck a few years back and we slowly pieced together that he was the one at my wreck. I know it might sound cliché but I fell in love with him the day he asked me to be his girl!
Going to the beach this year things were a little different than usual. I noticed he was more loving and cuddly than he normally is but I wasn't complaining. We had a fun filled week while at the beach! We went swimming with the dolphins, shark fishing, went to Dave and Buster's, got fish pedicures, and those amazing milkshakes everyone raves about! I had no idea that he was going to be proposing at the beach but there were multiple days that I thought would have been the perfect opportunity to do so. Little did I know, he had the day already planned in his head. The Friday before we were leaving we went on a walk around Pier Park and to look at the new Sky Wheel that they had just built. I, of course, saw the perfect picture opportunity so I asked someone to take our picture and we both handed over our phones. He didn't pay attention the entire time that the pictures were being taken. After they took a few I started to walk up to the girl to get my phone and see how the pictures turned out. Next thing I knew, I was being pulled back to him and he was down on one knee, beaming up at me like he had just won a grand prize. Smiling from ear to ear he told me he was in love with me and asked me to marry him. Saying yes to him was the easiest thing that I have ever done and I can't stop staring at the beautiful ring that is on my finger! I cannot wait to be his wife!
