We're Getting Married!

We met each other in the summer of 2010 while on a service trip to the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana with a group of friends from Schreiner University. We hiked, camped, cooked, and smelled bad together for NINE whole days. After this trying time of isolation we remained friends...

After graduating from Schreiner University in 2013, Genevieve moved up to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UNC. Just about a year later, Cody and Bacon packed up their bags and moved across the country to start a job at Fullsteam brewery in Durham, North Carolina. The rest is history.

After an evening of fun with friends at the Durham Bulls baseball game, we all took a stroll through the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham. While our friends took a picture of us in front the Lucky Strike water tower, Cody bent down on one knee and pulled out a lovely dark green box with the most beautiful engagement ring, more incredible than I could have imagined! Of course I said YES!
