Answer

The "Pueblo Mágico", San Miguel de Allende (SMA) is known for being exceptionally safe and welcoming. Question

SHOULD I DO A MONEY EXCHANGE FROM USD TO PESOS?

Answer

We usually withdraw pesos from an airport ATM when we arrive. There’s no need to bring large amounts of cash, as most places accept U.S. credit cards and ATMs are easy to find around town. Smaller bills are handy for tips, artisan markets, and quick purchases.
