Yes, we have made the difficult decision to postpone to a later date. We have chosen the new date to be October 17, 2020. The time of the wedding will be later in the day, please keep an eye on this website for the latest information. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
The bride’s family owns a beautiful farm in Southern Maryland. We will be having all the festivities in a field next to the bride’s childhood home. Restroom facilities will be provided.
We ask that you RSVP by January 31. We understand that the holidays get busy and you’re not thinking about spring just yet. Keep us in mind as the holiday season comes to a close.
RSVP features will be on this website. Please click the RSVP tab at the top of the page and answer accordingly. Ensure you include any guests who will be accompanying you to include spouses, partners, children, etc.
We want you to feel comfortable, and the location is nothing fancy, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. Some will be dressier than others and thats ok!
Kids are welcome for the ceremony followed by an adult reception. We want mom and dad to hang out as long as they can.
Plus ones are welcome, please add them when you RSVP so we can get a proper head count.
We have reserved a block of rooms at one hotel about 15 minutes away. Please check the travel and accommodations tab for more details.
Yes, we will be providing transportation to and from the hotel throughout the night.
My friends, I wish we knew. October is a beautiful and unpredictable time in wonderful Southern Maryland. Please check your weather app for Mechanicsville, MD and plan accordingly. We will update this once it gets closer.
We ask that you are in your seats by 3:30PM as the ceremony will begin on time.
There will be time directly after the ceremony to set up tent accommodations before the reception begins.
We kindly ask that you leave phones off during the ceremony and use them during the reception. We want to make sure our photographers do not have anything in the way of the perfect shot. Make sure to tag #FellForManginell if you post any pictures from the reception.
Folks are welcome to grab a drink and a seat and await the newlyweds and wedding party to return from pictures.
We will have a wonderful BBQ spread and some Southern Maryland favorites. Vegan options will be available.
The party must go on! Until we can’t anymore. (The shuttle will quit before we do!)
Contact the bride at Devon.dixon135@gmail.com or a message on Facebook will do just fine.
