Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love kids, we request that you make arrangements for the weekend. We plan to have a kid free, adult only event for the duration of the weekend.

How far is Comfort Suites/Red Roof Inn from Brittland Manor?

Answer

3.9 Milles or about 10 minutes. The two hotels are right next to one another. The hotels are about 1.4 miles or 4 minutes from downtown Chestertown. Room block at discounted rate for Comfort Suites lasts until May 7th!

Is there parking onsite? Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

There is plenty of parking onsite at both the circular driveway or the grass adjacent to the house which can stay overnight. Please do not drink and drive. We are providing a shuttle service and from the venue as well.

Will there be any transportation from the hotels to the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! We have hired a shuttle service for both the Welcome Party and the Wedding. Welcome party pickup and drop off times are 7:00-11:30. The day of the wedding the shuttle will be picking people up from both hotels between 1:00-4:00. Towards the end of the wedding and after the shuttle will be running from 10:30-2:30 to drop people back off at their hotels.

Are the ceremony and reception taking place at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Brittland Manor in Chestertown.

Is the Wedding Indoors or outdoors

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place outside the lower lawn by the water. Cocktail hour will be by the garden/pool area followed by and outdoor tented reception.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are SO excited to see our guests dressed up for our big day! The dress code is formal attire. Being a summer wedding light colors are encouraged and we ask that ladies avoid white.
