Having been acquainted since 2012 it may not have been love at first sight but after 5 years without seeing each other, they re-connected over a FaceTime made by Cody, to a mutual friend, whom Caylee happened to be with. After dinner, drinks and endless conversation at a downtown patio spot it seemed like the rest was going to be history. Not even 30 days later after their first official date Caylee knew that Cody was the one, she even has a text to her father on Cody's birthday in July of 2018 asking him to pray over their relationship, she knew this was the last time she'd ever have a first anything without him. Cody, being the gentleman he is told Caylee he loved her first, but anyone who was present could tell he didn't know it was going to roll off of his tongue that easy, and yes there were whitnesses. Later that same year, Cody gave Caylee permission to tell him she loved him back (*insert belly laughs* because she nervously did not reciprocate the first time) and of course, she obliged. After a couple of years and a new found desire for adventure Cody took Caylee to Colorado - Keystone Ski Resort. On March 5th of 2021 Cody got down on one knee with the most beautiful snow capped mountains in the background (well he actually forgot the knee part *insert more belly laughs*) and asked her to marry him, and this time she said YES!!
