We started as classmates and soon became inseparable companions. From attending school events hand in hand to creating unforgettable memories that filled the pages of our high school yearbook, we discovered the magic of young love. Our journey didn't end when we donned those graduation caps; it was only just beginning. We embarked on a new adventure together as we attended college, side by side. While one of us pursued an entrepreneurial dream, the other continued to pursue academic excellence. Love brought us to the stunning landscapes of West Virginia, and it was here that a chapter of our love story was etched against the backdrop of Sand Stone Falls. Our journey to this special moment was filled with laughter, family, adventure, and a sprinkle of serendipity. Our trip to West Virginia was meant to reunite with family we don't often get to see and attend a Lainey Wilson concert at the State Fair. But it became so much more than that. During this visit, we were able to cherish precious moments with loved ones, including my beloved Grandma, who holds a special place in my heart. We also embraced the opportunity to explore the wild and wonderful West Virginia. We ventured on rivers, trails, and even ventured deep into the Lost World Caverns. Each experience brought us closer, strengthening our bond and creating memories that will last a lifetime. On the last day of our unforgettable trip, fate had an unexpected surprise in store for us. As we made our way to Sand Stone Falls, we had the astonishing fortune of running into some dear friends from Florida. It was a moment of pure disbelief, as if the universe had conspired to make that day even more special. Together with our friends, we set out to explore the beauty of Sand Stone Falls. We crossed the small river, navigated the rocky terrain, and balanced on a small log that bridged the river. It was there, on a rock that seemed to hang over the river, that Cody decided to make this extraordinary moment even more memorable. With all the love in his heart, he got down on one knee, gazed into my eyes, and asked the most important question of our lives. With my heart brimming with joy and love, I said 'YES!' Our friends, our families, and the awe-inspiring natural beauty that surrounded us bore witness to our commitment to spend the rest of our lives together. In that moment, the falls cascading behind us mirrored the cascade of emotions within our hearts, and we embarked on this incredible journey towards our wedding day.
