We met almost 15 years ago in Las Vegas, NV. Cody was living there working full time as a bartender and Anna had just started her first semester at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Cody was working at Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Restaurant on Flamingo, just minutes away from the UNLV campus. Fate decided to step in when Anna put in an application as a hostess at the very same restaurant. As soon as she started working there, she immediately met an Angerman, just not Cody. Her first night she was trained by Cody’s brother, Brad, but she didn’t know they were related when she made a comment about “the hot bartender”. Unfortunately, she found out later that night that her new crush had a long term girlfriend. They continued to work together for over a year and became friends along the way. Both had a similar taste in music and instantly bonded when talking about their favorite bands. Eventually, Anna got offered a better job at Mandalay Bay and left Roys, and Cody behind. Separately, life went on as usual for the two until fate stepped in again a few years later in 2009. Cody was out on the town with his friends at Blue Martini when he locked eyes with Anna across the crowded bar. They both immediately left the people they came with and were pulled together by an indescribable force. They had found each other again and this time they were both available and ready to start a new, amazing adventure together. Cody and Anna have been living together in Wrangell, Alaska for the past six years, raising their two boys, Kyler, 5 and Maddox, 1.
