While there are rooms blocked at the two hotels, there are also AirBnB rentals around the area. Hickory is about 20 minutes from where the ceremony and reception will take place. There are plenty of things to do in Hickory, including great restaurants and breweries like Boca, Blowing Rock Draft House & Brewery, and Olde Hickory Tap Room. Lots of shops and boutiques around the square, or at Valley Hills Mall.
