Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to venue limitations, our wedding will be primarily adults-only. We have only extended invitations to the children of our immediate family and bridal party, who are specifically named on their invitations. Although we love your children, if they were not listed on your invitation, please take our day as a time to relax and enjoy a kid-free evening.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Not one bit! Please wear what makes you feel confident and comfortable. When considering footwear, be aware we will be celebrating on grass!

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Ushers will begin seating at 3:00, with the ceremony beginning at 3:30. Please arrive no later than 3:20 to allow time to get to your seat. Shuttle service available from Best Western Batesville arriving at 2:30 and departing at 2:50.

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is (weather allowing) outdoors with no coverage overhead. The reception will follow under a tent nearby, with sides available in the event of rain.

Are there hotel room blocks available for guests?

Answer

Yes, please refer to the travel section of this website for information on the Best Western Hotel accommodations in Batesville, Indiana. You will need to call the hotel directly to book your room on the reserved block as it is not connected to their online booking system.

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We will be having a hot dinner available.

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or special diet options available?

Answer

Unfortunately we will only have one dinner option available. If you have questions or concerns please reach out to Alesia or Cody for more information.

Is there transportation back to the hotel at the end of the night?

Answer

Yes! Shuttle service will resume at 8:00 PM and run every 30-40 minutes to-from Best Western Batesville. Last shuttle leaves at 11:30 PM.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes. We have parking available for those who choose not to use the shuttle service. Please follow signage and live instruction for parking. Overnight parking IS allowed.
