Best Woman
In 2019, the universe introduced me to Kimberly Blue and just like that, we became best friends. No warm-up, no awkward small talk just instant connection and all-in loyalty from day one. Since then, we’ve packed in 13 concerts in a single year, amazing camping trip in Leavenworth, and conquered country music festivals like champs. She’s seen me through every high, low, and “how did we end up here?” moment with heart, humor, and lots of shenanigans. She’s not just part of the party, she’s my Best Woman. The one I trust to keep me sane, laugh through the chaos, and maybe keep track of the rings if things get dicey. If you haven’t met her yet, you’re in for a treat. Kimberly’s the kind of person who makes every moment better and I couldn’t imagine this day without her.

Jordan and I go way back, first grade back. That’s about 21 years of inside jokes, dance routines, and surviving school picture day disasters. From swinging each other around in childhood dance classes (probably defying a few laws of physics) to growing up and never losing that connection, she’s been one of my constants. Jordan's more than a friend she’s family, a partner in mischief, and proof that some bonds are built to last. Whether we were choreographing performances or navigating adulthood, she’s always been there. Having her stand with me today feels like the most natural thing in the world and I couldn’t imagine this day, or my life, without her.

Jenna and I also go all the way back to the first grade. Yep, the days of glue sticks, playground shenanigans, and sleepovers filled with snacks and secrets. From our earliest years to now, the memories we’ve stacked up are endless and unforgettable. She’s the kind of friend who says “Are you sure” when I’m the one saying “Why not” like that time we crammed three wine tastings into two chaotic hours, racing the clock and laughing the whole way. Childhood, adulthood, chaos and calm she’s been there through it all. Jenna isn’t just a lifelong friend, she’s family. And on a day as meaningful as this, I’m beyond grateful she’s here to celebrate with me.

Alanna and I met about a year and a half ago through work and let’s just say productivity took a hit the moment we sat next to each other. Instant partners-in-crime, we quickly became the coworkers you get separated *because* of too much talking, too much laughing, and not nearly enough actual working. Even though our friendship is relatively new, it’s been nothing short of solid. We’ve cheered each other on through wins, talked each other through the tough stuff, and found time to laugh when we probably shouldn’t have. She’s been a source of joy, perspective, and occasional chaos all the best ingredients for a lifelong friend. Having Alanna by my side on this day means everything. She’s proof that sometimes the best people show up when you least expect it and make every moment after that better.
Best Woman
It all began five years ago, in the middle of a chaotic world and a quiet little town, Stayton, Oregon, 2020. I was just a cart-pusher at Safeway, trying to find my footing while the world felt like it was spinning off its axis. Then Ariel walked in, and everything started to shift. What started as casual chats between shifts quickly grew into something rare, a friendship that felt effortless, genuine, and grounding. Before we knew it, we were best friends. No big moment, no dramatic turning point, just a steady, natural connection that’s never wavered. From my early days as a courtesy clerk to stepping into management, she was there. We shared laughter, late-night talks, spontaneous adventures, and even the kind of lows that test your spirit. But we faced it all together. One of the most powerful things we did, something I’ll carry with me forever was choosing to chase more. We knew Safeway wasn’t our final chapter. With each other’s encouragement and the support of our amazing partners, we made the leap. In 2023, we left behind the familiar and stepped into careers that truly excite us. And we’ve never looked back. As I reflect on this journey, I can’t imagine celebrating this moment without her. Ariel isn’t just a friend, she’s a cornerstone of my story.

It all started back in 7th grade; just two kids in class, me sitting in front of her, not knowing that moment would spark a lifelong friendship. From school days filled with laughter to endless afternoons hanging out after class, Takisha has been by my side through it all. We spent so much time together from wandering around town, talking about everything and nothing, just enjoying the freedom of being young and curious. Once I got my license, our adventures stretched even farther: spontaneous trips to the beach, Bend, Lake Tahoe, and countless drives to Salem simply because we could. Takisha has always been my go-to for every road trip, every detour, and every memory worth making. Life with her is full of stories, and I truly can’t imagine this special day without her standing beside me.

Lupita and I became close back in middle school, around 7th grade. I was a pretty shy kid then, but she was one of the few people I felt completely comfortable around. She brought me out of my shell whether it was spontaneous mall trips, wandering through stores just for fun, or simply being the kind of friend who made everything feel lighter. She was the first person I ever came out to, followed closely by Takisha. Through heartbreaks, late-night drives to her house when I needed a shoulder to cry on, and every messy moment in between, she’s always been there. No judgment, just love. And yes, she’s definitely kept me in check when I made questionable choices with boys! We’ve shared so many memories: endless drives, me teaching her how to drive my 4Runner, and navigating everything from school to growing up. Whatever life threw at us, we faced it together and somehow made it all fun. Having Lupita by my side on this day isn’t just important it’s non-negotiable. She’s been part of every chapter, and I wouldn’t start this new one without her.

Tyler and I also go way back. We officially became close in 7th grade, and from that point on, life was one big adventure. Whether we were taking our trucks up into the mountains, cruising gravel roads to the beach, shooting hoops, or walking around town on warm summer nights with friends we lived it all together. One moment I’ll never forget is when Tyler came to me, absolutely glowing, to tell me he had feelings for Lupita, my best friend. I already knew she felt the same way, and watching their story unfold has been one of the greatest joys. Years later, the tables turned when I told Tyler about Cody. From the very first time I met him, I was hooked driving four hours to Seattle just to see him again, even though we were already seeing each other every week. Tyler thought I was a little crazy for all the miles, but he saw how happy I was, and how well Cody cared for me. Now here we are. Life kept moving, and somehow we blinked and landed on this incredible day. Having Tyler as one of my groomsmen means everything, there’s no way I’d celebrate this moment without him.
