FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal: Below-the-knee dresses, elegant jumpsuits, and jackets, dress shirts and slacks. The ceremony will be on grass, so try to avoid stilettos! Please refer to our Pinterest board for more inspiration: https://pin.it/1DpwSMJEn

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by July 1st, 2026 so that we can provide our venue with a final guest count.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

If you were given a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation and RSVP page. We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing guests not added to your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5:30pm sharp and we ask that you arrive no later than 5:15pm. We recommend that you arrive around 5 to give yourself time to sign the guest book and find your seat for the ceremony. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, you will not be seated and you will need to wait until cocktail hour to enter the venue.

Question

I have an allergy or food preference. Will there be food I can eat?

Answer

We will have vegetarian options for each course, everything will be nut-free and most courses will be gluten-free. If you have a specific concern, please make a note in your RSVP.

Question

Will dinner be plated or buffet?

Answer

We will have passed appetizers during cocktail hour and a buffet dinner, and there will be both vegetarian and meat options available with each course.

Question

What day should I arrive in Seattle?

Answer

We will have events on Saturday, so we recommend arriving on Friday or Saturday to make the most of your time in the PNW! Sunday will be a free day, and we encourage you to use that time to explore the area.

Question

Are there colors I should avoid wearing to the wedding?

Answer

We encourage you to dress colorfully in whatever you are comfortable in!

Question

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside on the lawn, rain or shine. We will move the ceremony inside only if the air quality is unhealthy due to wildfire smoke. The cocktail hour will be outside in the courtyard, and dinner will be served inside. All guests will have access to both the inside and the outside throughout the reception and after.

Question

What will the weather be like in Seattle in August?

Answer

August in Seattle is typically very pleasant and sunny, with average temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees.

Question

How can I get to and from the venue from the hotel block?

Answer

There is also a large parking lot on site if you wish to drive, and there is a bus stop across the street. More transportation details and instructions can be found in the "Travel Details" tab.
