Of course we recommend checking out our beautiful venue during the day! It's a great place to hike, explore, and enjoy some of Georgia's wildlife.
We've made so many great memories at Zoo Atlanta! It's one of our favorite places to visit. Plus, they are the last zoo in the U.S. to care for pandas. Fun Fact: Cody originally wanted us to have our wedding at the zoo.
We might be a little biased (given we now live in Duluth), but we recommend exploring Downtown Duluth and other small town centers around the metro-Atlanta area. Each town center/neighborhood both in Atlanta and right outside of Atlanta have their own character and offer a variety of experiences. Here are a few additional town centers to check out (not including Roswell, which is also fun to check out and nearby the venue!): https://www.atlantamagazine.com/homeandgarden/10-of-metro-atlantas-most-vibrant-city-centers-that-arent-atlanta/
Giant. Whale. Shark.
The metro-Atlanta area is known for its beautiful trails, especially when the leaves change color in the fall. Vickery Creek Trail is a great hike located near the venue at the historic Roswell Mill. However, there are plenty of additional walking/hiking parks and trails to check out: https://www.rei.com/blog/hike/best-atlanta-hikes
The best spot for lego fans!
