What if I don't own a 4-wheel drive vehicle, will my car make it?

Absolutely - with careful driving! The state of Colorado invests plenty of funds for road cleanup. If you are planning on driving up the mountains, then a 4-wheel drive might be necessary.

Is it more affordable to drive or fly?

Answer

Depending on where you are traveling from, it may be more affordable to fly. Denver airport has extremely affordable flights when traveling from another major city. **Travel tip: Traveling Monday-Thursday could make your flights less expensive vs. traveling on the weekends. DFW ----> Denver L.A.X ----> Denver ABQ -----> Denver When traveling from cities with smaller airports (Lubbock or Amarillo) it may be more affordable to drive, especially if there are multiple people traveling.

Will it be cold?

YES! If you are traveling from Lubbock or Amarillo, you may be used to the weather. As for everyone else, it will be cold. Please dress accordingly!
