What is Casitas?

Casitas is a private section on the south side of Cheeca Lodge Resort only available to our wedding invitees.

What is the dress code?

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with family and close friends. Thank you for understanding!

Where is the ceremony & reception?

Answer

The ceremony is at San Pedro Catholic Church on MM 89 (Bayside). The Cocktail Hour & Reception is at Casitas at Cheeca Lodge Resort on MM 82 (Oceaniside). Both the Cocktail Hour & Reception are outdoors on compacted sand. For that reason, ladies, we suggest wearing block heels or wedges for a more comfortable walking/ dancing experience.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

If it rains, we are prepared with a covered tent, however we will continue the party by dancing in the rain! :)

Is the welcome party outdoors?

Answer

Our venue, Habanos Tapas & Bar is an indoor/outdoor event. The main section is in the restaurant/ patio however there is an option to hang out at the beach.

Why is the welcome party to early on a Friday?

Answer

Ellie and Ale wanted as much time with you all in the daylight and to get optimal photos at golden hour.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love all your kids, however unless your children are listed on your invitation and/or when you RSVP, this is an adult only event.

Is there an After Party?

Answer

Yes! Our After Party will take place at Hog Heaven on MM 85 (Oceanside). Cheeca Lodge as 24-Hour Shuttle service that can take guests to and from Casitas/Cheeca Lodge.
