Things To Do

One of our favorite hikes. Medicine Bow Peak is at 12,013 feet and is highest point in the Snowy Range. Hike is 3.4 mile out and back.

Medicine Bow Peak

This is a restored Old West prison and museum. An excellent tour for history nerds and those believe in ghosts! Small admission fee.

Wyoming Territorial Prison

Right next to our reception is the historic Ivinson Mansion; it is a restored victorian home of a major Laramie founder. Small admission fee.

Laramie Plains Museum

Great place to explore; perfect for hiking, camping, climbing and picnicking. Turtle Rock Loop is a favorite.

Vedauwoo Recreation Area

Follow WY-210 W/Happy Jack Rd 25.0 mi west from Cheyenne, then turn right (north) on dirt road (N Crow Rd) 2.9 mi to the reservoir.

Our favorite place to paddleboard and kayak over the summer. Great for fishing as well!
