Once upon a time at a beloved wedding in Colorado, a serendipitous moment unfolded. Will, a groomsman for his friend, found himself walking down the aisle with none other than his friend's stunning sister, Codi, who was a bridesmaid. They exchanged polite smiles but, surprisingly, they didn’t speak a word the rest of the night. Little did they know, this was just the prologue to their epic love story. Fast forward a year, and Will made the big move to Colorado, where he regularly joined Codi’s brother and his wife for dinner. To Will's surprise, Codi just happened to be invited each time! What started as casual meals with friends soon transformed into dates filled with laughter, watching Star Wars, long walks, and indulging in ice cream. As autumn leaves began to fall, Codi returned to her university out of state, and they navigated their long-distance romance with frequent phone calls. By spring, Codi was back in Colorado, and after much thought (and even a few ice cream dates), they decided to take the plunge—Codi moved in with Will so they could make every moment count with her busy night shifts. Over the next four years, their love blossomed through countless adventures. From carving fresh tracks in snowy mountains each winter to exploring the beauty of Europe in the spring and fall, they made memories that would last a lifetime. One unforgettable summer weekend, Will and Codi ventured to California for a backpacking trip with Codi’s sister. After a perfect day hiking through the breathtaking Sierras, the moment arrived. With the sun setting in the background, hearts racing, and the rain on pause, Will got down on one knee and asked the question that would lead them into the next grand adventure of their lives together.
