Let's Get Married!

After a beautiful 2 years, 2 months, and 2 days together, Lauren was celebrating her 27th birthday and Easter Sunday. The stars aligned and Andrew knew, "it is time" *in the best Rafiki voice*. He purchased her ring a week before he proposed with his initial intention of waiting until another trip they have planned for September of 2022 to actually propose. But, as soon as the ring delivered, Friday, April 15th, he knew he couldn't wait 5 more months (this is common for Andrew - as he typically gives Lauren's gifts to her as soon as they come in because he is so excited). So, Andrew went to walk the dogs (Percy and Dude) and called Lauren's Father, Mark, and asked for her hand in marriage. Mark said of course and then, he knew, it was go time. He came back in, nervous but excited, building up the courage. Before Lauren started getting ready to go see a movie and have dinner with him that evening for her birthday, Andrew grabbed her hand, brought her into a room, and knelt down on one knee. Simple and sincere. One of the most sincere things anyone has ever done for her. Although there were some signs, Lauren literally had no idea it was coming. They cried happy tears for 30 minutes, realizing their happiness was going to last for a lifetime.
