I have always said that our love story was practically a Hallmark movie. We were both set to be in a wedding on May 19, 2018. My roommate at the time, Taylor, and his friend from high school, Brandon, were getting married and both Eric and I were in it! I thought all this time, that it was fate that we walked together that day. Actually, Eric made sure we walked together that day by calling "dibs". :) From the moment I saw him walk into the Terry House for the wedding rehearsal the day before, I knew I was going to marry him. Fast forward to October, 5, 2019. Eric popped the question in a very unexpected way. I had come home from work one evening with him waiting on me and a surprise on our sofa. I rounded the corner from our kitchen to find my dream puppy sitting on the couch with a collar around its neck. As I got closer, it read "Will you marry my daddy?" I turned around and Eric was on his knee asking to call dibs for the rest of my life. It was unexpectedly perfect. When it came to our engagement pictures, I thought it was only appropriate to have them taken in the very place we first met. This only adds to our perfect love story. We can't wait to continue our own Hallmark movie on January 16, 2021 with our friends and family at our side.
