Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Because we’re having a destination wedding, your presence is truly our present. We are not registered and kindly request no gifts.

Do I need a passport to travel to Aruba?

Answer

Yes. A valid passport is required for all travelers and must be valid for the duration of your stay.

Will my phone work in Aruba?

Answer

Most U.S. carriers offer international plans. We recommend checking with your provider before traveling. The resort has free Wifi too, of course.

Where am I staying?

Answer

All wedding guests are staying at the Tamarijn Aruba All-Inclusive Resort.

Question

Can I stay at Divi Aruba instead of Tamarijn Aruba?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Although the resorts are connected, all wedding guests are required to stay at Tamarijn to be included in our wedding group and events.

Why do I need to book through the travel agents?

Answer

It is resort policy that booking through Jim and Kathy ensures: You are counted as part of our wedding group. You receive the correct group rates and inclusions. You are eligible to attend all wedding events at the resort.

Are the rooms really oceanfront?

Answer

Yes! One of the reasons we chose the Tamarijn is that the rooms are directly oceanfront, just steps from the sand, with incredible views of the Caribbean Sea.

Where will the ceremony be held?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner & dancing will take place on the beach at the Sandpiper Restaurant at Tamarijn.

Will there be other wedding events?

Answer

Yes! We are having a Welcome Party at Pelican Bar the night before the wedding. Details on post-wedding events will be shared closer to the date.

Are tips included at the resort?

Answer

Gratuities are included, though additional tipping is always appreciated for exceptional service.

What currency is used in Aruba?

Answer

Aruba’s official currency is the Aruban florin, but U.S. dollars are widely accepted everywhere.
