We first met a few years ago out on the dance floor at Alex's cousins birthday party. Dancing, laughing, having a good time... some would possibly call it love at first sight until we exchanged numbers that night & never texted each other. Almost 8 months went by & after seeing each other at a few more parties we decided to go on a date. Shortly after that Luke got his dream job which stalled the dating process for awhile but towards the end of fire academy things became official. Now here we are over a year later so excited to be getting married!

We went up north to go camping... which if you know about our last two camping experiences then you know camping isn't really our thing. It is Luke's favorite thing & Alex's least favorite thing. This time we decided we are going to go 1 for 3 with camping. Luke let Alex pick the spot & Luke prepared extra to make sure this camping trip would be the best yet... & he did a reallll good job. We woke up to the most beautiful view of Sedona & decided to walk to a near by look out point. There Alex turned around to see Luke on a knee. She doesn't remember anything but seeing the most beautiful ring & snatching it so quickly to put on her finger. Luke claims he said some very nice words. It was just the two of us & it was perfect.
