Jessica and Justin quickly became friends as they were assigned to sit next to each other in 11th grade English class. The two shared headphones and subtle flirtations that school year. The fall of 2012, their Senior year, Justin asked Jessica to be his girlfriend and she said "yes". That last year of high school was one to remember: soccer games, library visits together, Senior prom - a storybook high school romance. With college looming, Justin and Jessica knew they would soon tackle long distance. Justin in Columbus, Ohio and Jessica in The Bronx. Justin would take a bus overnight from Ohio to New York once a month to come visit Fordham and spend the weekend together. Jessica would fly to Columbus once each fall for Ohio State football games. Post-graduation, Jessica lived at home in Westfield to get her footing and Justin moved in to Hoboken, NJ with a friend. Shortly thereafter, the two moved in to Hoboken, NJ together in the fall of 2019, where they still live today - on the Upper East side of Hoboken, along the water. August 21, 2021 was the day Justin asked Jessica to marry him on a beach in Shelter Island after their romantic dinner at Vine Street Café and before the landfall of hurricane Henri. The two drove home through the hurricane, back to Hoboken. To Jessica's surprise, Justin had arranged friends and family to set up a spectacular afterparty in their apartment - they all danced and celebrated until 4am the next morning. Throughout their 9 years together, Justin and Jessica love their summers out East on the North Fork, Ohio State football games, exploring new restaurants everywhere they go, and living their lives together. September 2022 will mark the ten-year anniversary of the two beginning to fall in love that Senior year in 2012.
