THE COBURNS

Nicole and I met March 18, 2016. We joined our friends Paige, Lindsey and Nick on a wine excursion in Paso Robles. Nicole was working at Edna Valley Vineyard and had recently accepted a new role in Carmel Valley at Talbott Vineyards. I also accepted a job in Paso at Firestone Walker Brewing. Although we had just met, and knew that she was moving up north, that didn’t stop us from hanging out and flirting whenever we had the chance. Over the next couple of years, Nicole and I would occasionally see each other and always picked up where we left off. We were both growing as people, in our careers, and felt that maybe one day, when the time was right, something bigger would come from our friendship. Fast forward to 2019 - Nicole had moved back to San Luis Obispo with a new job back at Edna Valley. Once I worked up the courage to ask her out for a beer, things clicked, just like they always had, and we haven’t looked back since. For the last 2 years, Nicole and I have made Denver, CO our home. We’ve enjoyed everything Colorado has to offer; mountains, snow, concerts, sports and beer. We will soon be moving back to the Central Coast to start the rest of our lives together. A special thank you to Paige and Lindsey for introducing us (Nick still doesn’t believe that Nicole was wine tasting with us that day) and supporting the two of us from day 1.
