Yes, unfortunately our original venue fell through, so this was the only place that fit with our vision and our budget in such a short time frame.
No, everything is included. Just RSVP as soon as you can so we can plan for how many rooms to decorate/where people will sleep etc.
With the help of our family and friends, we plan to have a group Brunch and Dinner everyday, mess hall style in the lodge. We have a couple brunches that have yet to be claimed, if you want to offer your culinary talents, please let us know and email, call or text Steph or Joe.
No, you can always email or text Joe or Steph. However, it is easier for us to keep track if you respond on the website. The wedding is casual, but because of meal planning, sleeping arrangements etc. it is vital that you RSVP. Also since everything is DIY, the earlier you RSVP, the easier it is on us so we are not scrambling at the last minute.
Yes, there are 2 bathroom/shower houses. Along with bathrooms in the lodge and the A-frame. However there are no bathrooms or showers within in the 'treehouses'; you have walk to them.
No, each family will have their own room. With about 3-5 rooms in each cabin. I am trying to put families that know each other in each cabin house once people start to RSVP. But if you prefer more privacy feel free to bring your tent and camp in tent city.
Yes, a lot. Over 1/3 of our guest list is kids. If you they can manage to miss a few days of school, bring them. We plan on making some awesome memories.
We have rented the camp from Sunday evening to Thursday morning. Steph wants a lot of decorations so that way we will have a full day of set up, and a full day of breakdown. Feel free to stay as many nights as you want. Just realize there is the risk of you being put to work! lol
Basically a summer camp-garden party meets mid-summer nights dream (its actually during Autumn equinox), with a splash of renaissance faire. If you can wear florals at the wedding ceremony you will get points from the bride. Also, the less black the better.
