How Cristina and Bryan met is not so different from your traditional high school romance - only standing the test of time. Cristina and Bryan shared the same AP Psychology class with Mrs. Krissoff during Cristina's junior year, Bryan's senior year. The first couple months pass by and Cristina and Bryan shared nothing but across-the-room glances and the occasional greeting. Finally, fate brought them together in the form of an in-class small group discussion. Cristina and Bryan hit if off right away, joking and talking before and after class, eventually teaming up to complete homework together. Cristina had found Bryan cute, Bryan had found someone to do all his homework. Late nights chatting on Facebook messenger, texting way over our text-limit and walking to and from class together, a little slower each time, eventually turned Cristina and Bryan from classmates to high school sweethearts. Bryan and Cristina ventured their own ways after high school - Bryan to the University of Maryland, Cristina to Salisbury University. Despite the different paths, Cristina and Bryan always found their way back to one another through summers together and the frequent, but never quite enough, 2-hour commute from one college to the other on the weekends - never letting the high school romance fade.

Bryan did some sneaky sneak work behind the scenes. He picked out a ring, told Cristina he was going to go golfing, but instead, went over to her parents and asked for their blessing to propose. Cue the pumpkin patch that weekend! Cristina had bought tickets for Summers Farm in Frederick, MD for their fall festival. Bryan and Cristina were accompanied by Cristina's younger sister, Vanessa, and her two friends, Caitlin & Brooke, who were all in on the plan Bryan had set out to propose in the pumpkin patch! Once in the pumpkin patch, Bryan and Cristina walked by some pumpkins that said 'will you marry me?' These pumpkins were NOT a part of the plan... luckily, Cristina commented how cute they were and moved on. After Cristina insisted on *several* pictures in the patch, Bryan got down on one knee and popped the question! Cristina was a mixture of shock and happiness, and took the ring right out of the box, leaving Bryan kneeling in the dirt with an empty box! Luckily, he forgave Cristina for that little oversight. ;) (Ask Cristina or Bryan for the video if you haven't seen it... it's a pretty good laugh.)
