Back in 2020, Sarah was working on a customer story and Andrew was owning the account. They became work friends (even though Sarah claims he was her work crush). In 2021, Andrew happened to be in Chicago for a work trip on the exact same day Sarah’s parents were visiting the office. They all met in person for the first time… talk about timing. He picked up his new laptop, downloaded Slack, and the very first message he sent was to Sarah. He mentioned he’d be in town that night and asked if she wanted to grab a drink. On March 19, 2025, they went on their first “date.” Andrew ended up pushing his flight home back twice that weekend… and by the time he left, Sarah knew she was going to marry him.
