No! You may stay wherever you like, however, we would like to note that Ubers are few and far between, so it would be beneficial to stay within walking distance of the hotels listed. We will have buses taking you to and from both the welcome party and the wedding, so it is recommended that you stay close by to avoid missing the transportation.
If you are planning to travel to other parts of the island, we recommend that you rent a car. With that being said, there are plenty of places you can get to without having your own car. Palma is a walkable city, so bring some comfy shoes if you plan on traveling by foot!
The wedding dress code is formal attire! This means dark suits for men, and midi/maxi dresses for women. There is quite a bit of cobblestone so we recommend that women wear a heel that is sturdy enough to walk on uneven ground. With the wedding being outside, we also recommend women bring a light shawl in case it cools down in the evening.
Palma has a lot of fun things to offer! There are beach clubs near the water that are a great spot to hangout during the day. The city has a ton of great shopping with well known stores, and local boutiques. If you are looking for an easy day trip, take the train to Soller, a charming coastal town just under an hour away!
