When do we need to be there?

The resort room block is reserved for July 30th-August 2nd. A 3-night stay for these dates is required for booking. The date of our ceremony at the resort is July 31st. If you would like to arrive early or stay late that is an option, and the room rate remains the same for 5 days before and 5 days after the blocked period. We will arrive at the resort early on July 28th and leave for our honeymoon August 3rd. The day after the wedding is a relaxation day we plan to spend with all of you! The resort is all-inclusive, so food and drinks are included with your stay! There is a shuttle to and from the resort from the airport that we will have more details on soon! For our local/traveling Saunders family, if you would like to attend the wedding on the 31st, the resort requires the purchase of a day pass. The day/night pass is $70, a full day pass is $90. Dinner and drinks are included at the cocktail hour and reception! Please still RSVP if you are attending so we can get a final head count for the dinner. Please RSVP on the website by April 15th, 2026! You have extra time afterward to get rooms booked!

Step 1: Go to this link: https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/trademark/freeport-bahamas/viva-fortuna-beach-a-trademark-all-inclusive/overview Step 2: Fill out Arrival/Departure Date and number of adults/children in your room Step 3: Click on Special Rates, then Group Code Step 4: Enter this code: VWG11783 (this step is how you get the group rate!) Step 5: Enter & select your room - There are no more King rooms left, but plenty of 2 Queen rooms! Step 6: Finish your booking! If you have any issues with any of these steps, please let us know! From our experience, this is easiest to do on a desktop versus your phone. Other people who have booked have said it was easiest to book in their app! Per the booking site, you won’t be charged for your room amount until 30 days before your arrival date! Get those rooms booked ASAP! :)

How much will the rooms cost?

Answer

Rates are per person, per night and decrease for every adult in the room. Rates are as follows: -Single Adult: $237/night or $711 for the 3-night stay -Two Adults: $158/night or $948 for the 3-night stay -Three Adults: $142/night or $1,278 for the 3-night stay -Four Adults: $134/night or $1,608 for the 3-night stay -Children (3-12 years old): $30/night or $90 for the 3-night stay The maximum number of people per room is 4 people including children and infants. Please let us know if you have any questions or need any help with the booking process! Rooms MUST be booked by June 30th.

What is the dress code?

We ask that everyone dresses semi-formal for the ceremony and reception. Think light and breathable with a touch of elegance! Wear whatever color you want!
