Alexander and Sami have been circling each other their whole lives. Alex's uncle, Henry, is one of my closest high school friends. Sami grew up wearing Alex’s cousin’s, Kelly and Emily’s, hand-me-downs. I used to babysit Kelly and Emily before I even had kids of my own. They matched on a dating app in 2022 but Sami never responded to Alex's message! Sami was over for dinner and showed me Alex’s dating profile, and I told her not to date a guy with a motorcycle. It wasn't until they ran into each other at a bar in September of 2023 that they actually talked, well, argued really. Sami claimed that she had seen Alex at her gym, and Alex denied it (now they share a membership there). Sami called me on the way home from the bar upset, but we all know Sami likes a good debate, just like her father! Alex found Sami on Instagram but they did not connect for another couple of months. Sami showed me Alex’s Instagram page and I did not make the connection to the Weber Family, even after seeing Alex’s last name. Sami started working at the Aquarium in December of 2023. I was not happy that she was working at a dive bar in a strip mall, and told her that she would never meet any decent men there. Sami posted in January of 2024 to let people know to come in on her shift. Alex saw her post and came in on Friday nights from then on. He asked her on a date after a couple of weeks, and told his Uncle Henry that he was going on a date with a girl from Novato. Henry connected the dots, and Alex told Sami before their first date. When I found out, I was relieved that I wouldn’t have to track her location all night! The first date went well, because we met Mr. Alex only two weeks later. Now we can’t imagine our family without him. We couldn’t be more pleased that the Weber and Coale Families are coming together! We hope you all can join us for this joyous occasion!
