What is the dress code?

Our wedding dress code is formal. Women are encouraged to wear floor-length or elegant midi dresses. Men should wear a suit and tie.

Is there parking at Holy Name and The Walden?

Answer

Both venues offer parking, though we encourage you to consider rideshare services so you can fully relax and enjoy the evening! Holy Name: Guests may park at 14 W. Superior Street, directly across from the church. Parking is complimentary—simply have your ticket validated in the Cathedral vestibule before or after the ceremony. The Walden: A 26-car lot is attached to the venue, and abundant free street parking is available throughout the surrounding area. Please note that all vehicles must be removed at the end of the night and cannot be left overnight.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 2:30pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to park and find your seat.

What should I do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

You'll have about an hour between the ceremony and cocktail hour. If you arrive early to cocktail hour, we'd love for you to head next door to Midwest Coast Brewing Company to relax and enjoy yourself!
