As most of you know, Lauren is my older sister. Growing up we could not have been more opposite, but as we grew older we also grew closer. She was there when Matt planned to propose and funny enough I actually invited her to join us on our canoe ride. Luckily Matt was quick to act. I have been blessed to have her as my sister, and I can't imagine going through all of this without her. She has supported me and encouraged me my entire life, and I can't wait for her to be my Maid of Honor.
Eric Martin
Best Man
Eric is Matt's best friend, role model, co-worker, mentor, and most importantly his older brother. These two are as close as it gets. Literally, they not only work together, but we live 13 minutes away. Eric and Matt are as competitive as any brothers are, but when you put them together they become unstoppable. Matt has always "looked up" (even though Matt is taller) to Eric his entire life. They love spending their time in the workshop, skiing, camping, and playing board games with their lovely wife and bride-to-be.
Hannah Allen

Hannah and I became instant best friends at Mizzou, where we were suite-mates freshman year, and it's been a whirl-wind of adventures ever since! We love to travel together no matter how much of a disaster it is. Our most memorable trips have been to Paris, Amsterdam, Cayman Islands, and New York.. but I know the best is yet to come. She recently got married to the love of her life, Ben, but don't worry, Matt and Ben know while they are our husbands, we are each others "life partners".
Harry Bozian

Harry and Matt have been best friends since grade school. They even have the same birthday! Luckily, Harry recently moved closer to us and visits monthly. I joked that Harry was Matt's first love, because these two are inseparable! Give these guys beer and somewhere to sleep, and they can make the best of it. Camping, hunting, fishing, video games and food pretty much sums up their lifelong friendship.
Jenna Martin

Jenna happens to be Matt's sister-in-law, but I knew her years before I ever met him. She even let me borrow her dog, Lily, for our first date! I love having my best friend live so close. We get to have spa nights, sleepovers, and Queer Eye dates regularly. The four of us have game night on Tuesdays, Game of Thrones viewing parties, hot tub drinking sessions, and cookouts regularly. I basically live at their house, but it's their fault for giving me a key. Now they are never getting rid of me.
Corey Near
Groomsman
Corey and Matt met in the Engineering School at Mizzou, and immediately hit it off. Matt convinced Corey to join the Water Ski Team and their friendship took off from there! They spend most of their time skiing, playing Xbox, and taking late night long-boarding trips. Ski tournaments gave these two the perfect chance to try and out-drink one another on a weekly basis... I will let you decide at the wedding who the winner is. *Hint Hint* It won't be Matt.
Katelyn Burns

Kate is my "cruise cousin"! Ever since I was little, I have looked up to Kate for her humor, personality, work ethic, and care free way of life. Kate is always the first to reach out and offer encouragement or support for the big events in my life. She gives Kevin a run for his money regularly and is always the life of the party. There was no question that I wanted to have her standing with me for my wedding. I have been lucky to call her my "cousin" all these years, and it's a blessing to have someone like Kate in my life.

Kevin, like most big brothers, never liked my boyfriends growing up, and I was lucky he was able to scare a few off for me. However, when he met Matt at my 21st birthday party, Kevin had nothing but nice things to say about him. Then a few years later, I brought Matt home for Christmas for the first time and I remember Kevin asking me, "Do you think you'll marry Matt?" At the time, I was not in that mindset yet, but something tells me Kevin just knew.
Jessie Grumstrup

Jessie is my oldest friend! We go all the way back to high school. While she didn't like me at first I began to grow on her over time. We have been through it all together: sports, boys, parties, college, and now adulthood. Although we don't live close to each other we have always been there for one another. If anyone could tell you stories about my adventures of growing up, it would be her.
Corbin Fox

There is some confusing background to Corbin knowing the Martins, but I am personally responsible for their newfound friendship. Corbin and I met when we took a spontaneous trip to the Cayman Islands with Hannah Allen and his soon-to-be wife, Emily. They now live 10 minutes from us, and our dogs are best buds too! Matt and Corbin became close when we moved to Kansas City and share their love of alcohol and cigars.

Hannah was my mentor at my first job out of college. We bonded over our hatred for the company and spent our free time either at the gym or on my couch watching Chicago PD. We share a love of food and Marvel movies. We became friends on day one, and now we both get to share our weddings with one another. I'm looking forward to standing up in her wedding this October.
Drew Fendler

Drew(bert) and Matt met through Eric and the Mizzou Waterski Team. Matt has grown up with Drew and was quite upset when Drew didn't make it to his 21st birthday. He has always been there for both Matt and I over the years, and he not only got Matt into skiing, but he also got me over my first jump ramp. Matt is hoping his bachelor party is close-to or as fun as Drew's!
Alleta Fendler
Officiant
Alleta is the one who kindly "nudged" Matt and I to become official years ago. She is a friend to us both and truly speaks from the heart no matter what. We knew immediately there was no one else we wanted up there with us when we say our vows.
Denali
Ring Bearer / Support
The joy of our world! Our spoiled precious pooch, who is always ready to play, will of course be standing with us on our big day. We are just hoping he doesn't head straight for the water. He is the best decision we have ever made and can't wait for you to see him in his tuxedo this August.
