Question

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

In August, the average high temperature in Colorado Springs is 82 degrees, and the average low temp is 54 degrees. So make sure to pack accordingly! Colorado nights can get quite chilly, though there will be plenty of fire places and firepits to stay warm!

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We would prefer that guests bring some nice clothes for the wedding and celebrations, but we absolutely do not expect anyone to bring out their tuxes, ballroom dresses, or suits and ties. We will be trying to keep the whole affair relatively casual.

Question

What kind of things will be supplied at the lodge?

Answer

Items such as soaps, laundry detergent, shampoos, hair dryers, iron and ironing board, tissue paper are available for your use as well. Of course, if you have particular needs, you will want to remember to pack those favorite items on your own. A large selection of high quality cookware is available for your use: a large stock pot, skillets, muffin pan, cookie sheet, many sauce pans, etc. Other helpful items include blender, toaster, hand mixer, wine opener, crock pot, extra large mixing/salad bowl, knife set, and manual can opener.

Question

How will I pay for my spot?

Answer

Once everyone has RSVP'd by March 16th, Tihsreed Lodge will send out individual invoices to you all. You can either pay with check or through Paypal using a credit/debit card. We hope that you will be able to reserve your spots as soon as possible, as our deposit is not returned until all of our guests have paid!

Question

How much will I have to pay if I'd like to stay at the Lodge for the entire stay?

Answer

To reserve your spot at the lodge, we estimate the cost to be $450 dollars per person This includes a 6 day/5 night stay and we will be doing our best to cover most all the other expenses (namely, food and beverage). We hope that along with coming to celebrate our wedding on 8.18.18 with us, that you will also treat this as a nice vacation in Colorado! While there, feel free go off on your own to experience some of the many local breweries, parks, etc. And of course, if we do not have space at the lodge / you will be be only staying for a night, feel free to look at all the surrounding AirBNB / VRBO / Hotel options.

For all the days along the way
