What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive to Kent Island Resort by 4 pm to have time to mingle and find your seat. If you are driving in from Alexandria or staying across the Bay Bridge, please plan ahead for the traffic on the Bay Bridge on a Friday afternoon.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code for the ceremony & reception is Formal Attire! For men, a suit and tie works perfectly. For women, a long or midi length dress is great.

Are kids allowed at the wedding? Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Please only bring guests who are specifically spelled out on the invitation/RSVP as space and seating is limited.

What if I have a dietary requirement?

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Many of the hotels we’ve recommended are located in the same marina - Kent Narrows Marina. We’ll be providing two charter buses that will pick guests up at 3:45 pm from the Hyatt Place Kent Narrows & Marina and will provide return transportation after the reception. Please let us know if you plan to use this transportation or if you have any questions!

Kent Island Resort has plenty of parking right in front of the venue.
